LUNCH AND BREAKFAST MEAL PROGRAM
Our students cannot have healthy minds without healthy bodies. Northwest Catholic School provides tasty and healthy meal options twice a day through our breakfast and lunch programs. Both meal programs are free for all students — and prepared our own Kitchen Staff!
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. To kickstart their day, students have the option to enjoy breakfast at school before classes start. It is served from 7:10-7:30 a.m. at the Lower Campus and 7:20-7:40 a.m. at the Upper Campus.
All students have the option to take a hot lunch every day. We participate in the Federal Hot Lunch program. Our delicious and nutritious meals are cooked on-site by NWCS kitchen staff. Monthly menus are sent home with the youngest (or only) child in each family. They are also downloadable from “Student Handbook, Forms & Links” and appear as well on our school calendar.
To continue our commitment to healthy eating, we provide fresh fruits and vegetables as snacks three times a day. This opportunity is provided through a grant from the Department of Education. We provide them to our students to ensure they consume all the proper nutrients they need for their bodies to grow strong.
